one more. Chacchoben or Kohunlich ruins in Costa? pics?
Okay also now considering one of these in Costa Chacchoben or Kohunlich as Altun Ha in Belize just doesn't seem like much so far. Anyone visited either of these? got stories or pics to share? would it be worth paying 350.00-450.00 for our group to go?

we did the kohunlich tour through carnival and although i don't regret going at all, i don't know that it was interesting enough to go more than once. i have some great pics from there and it's one of the few places where they still let you climb the ruins, which is why we decided to go there. basically, the tour guide leads you around, talks for 5-10 minutes and lets you go off on your own for 15-20 minutes to take pictures, climb, etc then you get back into a group and walk to another area of the ruins and hear about that and then you are set loose again. i think we did 4 or 5 rounds of this in all. it's definitely interesting - i mean, where else can you climb an ancient temple and take in a view that someone else took in a thousand years before you did?
Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.
