we did a tour in roatan that took us to gumbalimba park and then we went snorkeling at tabyana beach on our own. it was a pretty cool tour and we had fun. if you ever want to know exactly what it feels like to have one of those huge colorful parrots sittin on your shoulder or what it feels like to have a spider monkey reach into the pocket of your shorts i highly recommend it!!!

Thanks Jeff - This is Marion from Buffalo. We have emailed before.

Just coming up for air, have been without electric and heat for 6 days after our awful storm last week Just got our power back two hours ago........ Our schools will be closed until next Monday and we are starting to get back to normal.

Since I work for the American Red Cross I have been working in emergency shelters every day. Met great people and it was a pleasure to help them out all week.

We did book a tour in Roatan with Victor Bogdan, many people on the boards recommended him to us. It will get us around to see the area.

Thanks Lisa for your suggestions

Jeff - when is your next cruise?

Oh yes, Marion from the land of the "chosen frozen".
I hope the mess from the storm is cleared up soon!
We hope to be on another cruise in December and MAy. Details are a bit lacking right now because of some family issues.
You will love Roatan! IF you like to enjoy a cold beverage, I highly reccomend the local beer, Port Royal. Ask your guide to take you somewhere to buy cashews. You will never want to eat one from a can again.

Jeff:

Cashews - thanks, we will get some in Roatan and take them on the ship. I will tellmy husband about the beer. I don't drink but he loves to try the local brew.
