Any key hightlightes for the island of St. Kitts? Will be there in April of 2007. Thanks!

I think it depends on what you want to do. There is a nice beach, but its a good distance from the pier, about a 45 minute drive. There are taxi's in town to take you where you want, this beach was called Turtle beach, just a beautiful ride out there. Beach had a restaurant, plenty of chairs and these cute little monkeys you can feed. You'll see a lot of cruise passengers there, nice way to spend the day in St. Kitts.

When you get off the ship, hire a driver to take you around the island. It was only my husband and I and it cost us $100 US so if you can find another couple to share the cost. My best photos were on this island because he stopped at various sites and also stopped anywhere we wanted. This is a small quite and very beautiful island.
