Default Beach Break Costa Maya Tour

Can anybody who took this tour before answer my questions?
This is about Costa Maya Beach Break Party tour. They told us to take a taxi or the bus toward to the beach for what beach we should ask? What name of this beach? Is it possible to walk to the beach if it is only 5 min drive it is probably 20 min walk? Can we pay upon arrival to the beach? Why do we need to make reservation?

The beach is too far to walk. Don't worry about which beach. There is just one really long one. The "town" is only a few blocks long. As for booking in advance, we've never done that. After docking, you can walk out of the tourist area and sign up for a cab. The cabs only go to town. When you're ready to go back, you will see a group of taxi's, you hail one and back you go.
This port is nothing like others that have big hotels, etc. Just a tiny town that happens to be on a great beach. Have fun!

I was in Costa Maya in Sept and will be going back in Feb. We did the Jungle Beach break. It is about 45 minutes on a bus through the jungle, to the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The cost was around $40 for the entire day. It included an open bar. I will definitely go back. The name of the beach was Juervo Beach. However you do have to do it as an excursion through your cruise ship.

Also, you don't need to take this if you don't want a private beach. As soon as you get off the pier, you are in a beautiful setting in Costa Maya. A huge, huge, huge swimming pool right there for you to use. All you shopping is right there, and there is a beach right there.

I just enjoyed the private beach, then came back and did shopping.

Either one, is wonderful.
