Hi! My family and I will be sailing on Carnival Holiday in May and I'm researching the excursion options! I definitely want to take my DD to swim with the dolphins at Chankanaab Park but my DH will have my 2 year old DS....What can they do while we swim with the dolphins? Is there a beach nearby?
Also, is there an all-inclusive beach we can go to without going through carnival (lunch, drinks, ect.)?
Yes, the park is huge, lots of beach area, a small wading beach close by where the swim is. They can also watch, very intersting to watch the dolphins while you swim with them. There are shops there too and places to get fast food, etc.
The Dolphin swim is part of Chankanaab Park, and it is easy to grab a taxi to get there. The park is large, but can be crowded depending on how many cruise ships in port that day. There is an entrance fee of around $16 adult and $8 kids over 3. Restaurants, etc. are extra charge. If you go, do take time to walk through the botanical garden.
