Hi. We (family of four) are going on our first cruise next month - Star Princess in the Western Caribbean. One of our ports is Cozumel. We're not booking a shore excursion through the ship - we're planning on catching a cab to Chankanaab to snorkel and goof around. We did book a 3:30 pm Dolphin Encounter for the kids, which the website says takes 45 minutes. Here's my question: is this pushing it for a 6:00 sail? How easy is it to get a cab back to the pier? And then when does the last tender usually leave?
They do have cabs right there to take you back to the ship. Even though its a 45 minute excursion, if you want any pics or a DVD that they make, that takes up more time when your are done, so you may be pushing it a bit close, especially if you are tendering.
