Puerto Rico...what to do???

Hello, My husband and I will be hitting PR from 3pm to 11pm while on Liberty of the Seas and we are wondering if there are any fun things to do? Does anyone know of any fun tours here or is it mainly shopping? I also heard there may be a casino or two near the port. Any information that you tell me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It all depends on how touristy you want to be...I spent 9 days in San Juan last March (half in Old San Juan and half in Condado Beach). You can take the Bacardi distillery tour (not sure how late that runs, though). There are a couple of casinos--only one in Old San Juan at the Sheraton which is right by the ship dock. I highly recommend just walking up and down the streets of Old San Juan--it is absolutely fascinating. Walk from the dock all the way up to El Morro (the huge fort you can see), take the tour, and then spend your time, just walking back and forth as you head back down the hill. Stop in to the little hole in the wall restaurants and bars and shops. Some of the best food I had while staying there were from these little "mom and pop" places. Don't let the way the buildings look fool you--they may be a bit beat up, but worth the stop.There are dozens of these off on the little side streets. There are also several large and popular restaurants, too, although with your hours, plan on waiting for a table at these. These can also be really pricy. You can also stop in and have a pina colada in the bar where it was supposedly invented, but they make it with the pre-made Island Oasis crap, and you can get freshly made ones elsewhere. Of course your last stop on the way back to the ship should be Senor Frogs--never too old for Spring Break!

Thank you for giving such great ideas...I am now looking forward to it even more. I will hopefully get to do a lot of what you mentioned. And, I agree, definitly never to old for spring break!!!
