HELP - Atlantis Resort at Nassau's Paradise Island

I'll be on an 8/17 NCL Spirit cruise that will be making a port call at Nassau, Bahamas. I'm very interested in booking an excursion with NCL for the Atlantis Aquaventure, but the $129 for 4-hours that NCL is selling is pretty steep.

Does anyone know anything about Comfort Suites right next door to Atlantis? I've heard you can book with them for access to all of Atlantis' facilities, but there is a 2-night minimum? Has anyone done this recently and can shed some light?

How much can we expect to pay for a taxi from the Nassau cruise port to Atlantis for 6 people? Thank you!

what does that tour include? Its been awhile since i have been to Atlantis, others on the boards have posted that you can no longer book another hotel and have access to the facilites of Atlantis, you can use parts of the beach but you cannot use the private beach area with the waterslides unless you are a registered guest of Atlantis. If you just want to take in the amazing aquarium at Atlantis known as "The Dig" then just grab the water taxi at the pier head over to Atlantis, you can buy your admission tickets to The Dig at the kiosks in the casino. The water taxi is cheap, i don't know the current rate.

The tour with NCL for Atlantis Aquaventure is a 4-hour excursion for $129 that will give you access to most of the resort's facilities including its water park, The Dig, casino, restaurants. I think its a relatively new excursion that NCL Spirit is offering.

I've contacted Comfort Suites myself, and they do still offer passes to Atlantis for any paying guest, although there is a 2-night minimum if you book directly with them. However, if you book elsewhere (say Expedia) for 1-night, they will still give you passes to Atlantis, that is valid for that day till the following day up to 6pm.

Yay! Now I'll look into the water taxi you recommended. I've heard that its cheap, but the trek from where they let you off and Atlantis is a long one.. What do you recall about that? Do you know anything about its land transportation? Thanks!
