We are going to Cozumel and am taking a baby with us. The restrictions per the cruise line say age restriction is 8 years old. Does anyone know if those are age restrictions just to go, or age restrictions to actually participate in activities like snorkeling? We want to snorkel and do something with dolphins.
Carnival will not want to be responsible for your baby which is why they have the age restriction. You may have to book a tour outside of Carnival. But you will also need to find out from the tour groups if they allow babies on thier tours as well.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.

Please be extra cautious. While I loved the dolphin thing in Cozumel, it would be very hazardous for an infant. I did it at Chakaanab, but I'm sure the others are equally tricky. Maybe best thing would be to do it one at a time with the other parent holding the baby and watching. I definitely would not take a baby in the water. Too slippery and I doubt they would allow it anyway.
Have fun, but make it a safe fun.
