We will be visiting St. Thomas for the 7th. time in Nov. but we've never been to Megans Bay. I've been doing some research and come across some negative comments-not maintained properly in spite of the entrance fee,too crowded,over-rated. We are looking for a nice sandy beach with good swimming, chairs and umbrellas, drinks and a snack, and restrooms.
I'm wondering if Hull Bay,Morningstar,Lindberg Bay or Secret Harbour might be a better option. Has anyone ever been to any of these beaches? Or any others for that matter? Thanks for any help

Thanks Phil&Liz! I had looked at the beach guide on that site but didn't realize there was so much more to it. The message boards have been a great help. Thanks again

that is such a great information site, it has been so helpful.
As for Megans Bay we like to snorkel, and there is no snorkeling there, so i can't give you an opinion one way or the other. My top choices for a beach on St. Thomas proper would be Sapphire or Fishermans Reef

You are very welcome.
