Going to St Thomas, San Juan, Nassau and Coco Kay in Aug. on the Nick cruise. We're both around 280 lbs or so, and never been on a cruise like this. What kind of stuff can we do, like zip lining, jet skiing, powered snorkeling. What is the weight limit for some of these things and will we be comfortable? Like for parasailing, I know we can meet the weight limit, single, but would the harness be too painful to enjoy?
We've seen segway tours that we might can do, but seems expensive at $96.
Any one ever tried it, and is it worth it?
What would be some fun stuff that we plus sized people can do?
unfortunatley i know for a fact that you will not be able to do a zipline tour. My DH wanted to do that and he was over the weight limit at 260.
As for other things you can do, your best bet would be to shop your cruise lines excursion section, it will tell you specific requirements for each excursion.
In San Juan - book a ships tour to El Yungee Rainforest- its amazing or if you can walk, wander around Old San Juan.
Nassau - get yourself over to Paradise Island by either land or water taxi and take the tour of the aquarium known as "The Dig" - awesome
St. Thomas - make this a beach day, so many gorgeous beaches to choose from go to www.vinow.com for beach information.
