Bermuda Snorkeling

Can anyone give me info on best snorkeling in Bermuda and who to book with??

I am cruising to Bermuda in June and have found that you might be better off booking through the cruise line or just snorkeling on your own.
Some of the private companies have exclusivity contracts w/ the cruiselines and you may get bumped if you book privately.
Also, the snorkeling at the local beaches is supposed to be great.

That being said, I intend to do both.
We have our own snorkel gear and will snorkel at Horseshoe Bay, Tobacco bay and Snorkel Park but also booked an excursion through NCL for the Rising Son on the last day.
That should be enough snorkeling for one vacation !

my pick would be Horseshoe Bay, it is gorgeous with really good snorkeling, you really don't need to book an excursion, the transit system in Bermuda is second to none, and so very safe

We love to snorkel at Tobacco Bay in St George - and as stated before you really don't need to schedule this adventure - just ask the locals and they will tell you where you should go (depending on the time of year you are there) and the buses or catamarans are easy to get around the island - we did a helmet dive - booked directly with the owner - Web Page IF YOU LIKE SNORKELING YOU'LL LOVE HARTLEY'S UNDERSEA WALK BERMUDA

it did take up most of a day - BUT it was well worth it and would do it again next time we go to Bermuda
