Anyone know if the Kon Tiki party barge is back in business in St. Thomas? I know they had been shut down a few years ago but now I hear they are back in business with a new 'barge'. And I see Celebrity has them listed on their shore excursion list. Just wondering what was up with them.
I just checked Royal Caribbeans excursions for St. Thomas; they don't list Kon Tiki.

Thanks, yeah, I don't seem to be able to find out anything else on it but then again, I didn't see anything about it when it went out of business either, and got the scoop in St. Thomas. Here's the weird thing, on the Celebrity site, there's about 4 ways to get to the lists of the shore excursions. It shows up in some but not in others. So, I'm no closer to knowing if it exists or not. I emailed Celebrity so we'll see if anyone gets back to me. Oh, and looking at your location........hey, that's mine (even if I'm in Chicago right now).

Reason: rephrase statement
Yup, I live in Milford, and am hoping the Reds win the division title.

Thanks! Actually, I just got a reply from Celebrity. It partially answered my question because they said that it was not available on our particular cruise. But they didn't say if it was on other sailings. It had an excursion number like all the other excursions so I'm thinking it may be available some times. But it seems that they are actually back in business so we may have to set it up ourselves.

Thanks. probably don't need to be searching the Caribbean for a drunken party raft but Kon Tiki was sort of a tradition for us. And yeah, the Reds are looking pretty good right now, even with that horrible road trip. I'm actually a White Sox person but being here in the Cincy metro, it is cool to see everyone so pumped. I guess I should pay more attention to who's who because I'm out of town a lot for work and people are always asking me about the Reds and except for basics, I have to kind of stand there with a dumb look on my face. Interesting to see how it goes.
