Default November Shore things

New to cruising, going to Cozumel and Roatan and we think we want to snorkel (never done that), which place is better, will weather be okay for this? Should we stick with the cruise line's excursions? And what do you recommend for the other excursion (for instance if you say snorkel in Roatan what should we do in Cozumel?). Help, leaving this coming weekend and no excursions decided upon.

Since you are new to cruising and a first time to try snorkeling, I'd suggest going through the cruiseline. You don't mention the time frames in these ports, but by going through the ship, they will get you back in time, and even wait until the tour returns. They should also give you basic instructions on the safety and knowledge of snorkeling. It does take a bit to get used to, but great fun at the same time.

oh boy thats a tough choice. I would definately book a ships excursion no matter which port you decide to snorkel. Personally we LOVE to snorkel the Palencaar Reef in Cozumel, its an easy snorkel with so much to see.

First look at the weather next week. National and Local Weather Forecast, Hurricane, Radar and Report
The cold front moving thru Florida on Friday will work it's way
all the way down to Cozunel 77 degrees high and very windy is the forecast.
Roatan shoyld be better.
