Default Booking Shore Excursions Grand Cayman

Does anyone have any advice for booking shore excursions in Grand Cayman? I have went through private people in Cozumel, is it just as safe? In particualr we are looking at Sting Ray City which is about $70.00 through Carnival..Thanks!

What you have to be careful about, is the timing, when booking yourselves and not through the cruiseline, the ship will not wait on you if the excursion is running late. Also, keep in mind, that Grand Cayman is a tender port, you need to be back onboard an hour before sail away....

Having dealt with the tour operator above on a personal tour, I did not enjoy their tour as much as when using: Nativeway Watersports Homepage

Eldon and his wife Sharon run a first class operation and with minimal guests on their boats !

I suggest the Reef/Rays and Rumpoint tour... and plenty of time to tour, have lunch at Rum Point and cooked fresh to order.... and even have a little bit of time shopping before you tender back to the ship !
