Can you do two in one day?
Hi there! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I'm going on my first cruise in February to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. I have what I imagine is a newbie question. Can you do two things at a port? For example, In Grand Cayman, I would love to go on a dolphin/turtle experience, but I would also like to snorkel. Can you book two things or is there snorkeling worth doing from the beach?

Have you thought about snorkeling with the Sting Rays, the thing to do in Grand Cayman...Depending on your time frame there, it may be difficult to do two. Keep in mind, it is a tender port, so allow time to get back to the ship an hour before you sail away.

There are some private excursions that do both. You can also snorkel there in the port from the shore, actually one of the better places to do it.

In many ports of call it's possible to do 2 excursions in a day.

Grand Caymen is normally a short stay, with an early departure, and time necessary to tender back to the ship... so that would be a consideration.

another suggestion in Cozumel book the dolphin swim at Chanunaakab National Park, where you can snorkel also. Grand Caymen- Sting Ray City and snorkel tours are a must do.

Saralou, determining how much you can do in one day depends on several variables:

1. How long your ship will be at that port.
2. Whether you dock or tender at the port.
3. The duration of all the shore excursions.
4. When you get off the ship that morning.
5. Transportation between the excursions.

Docking gives you more time to explore than tendering. You must be back on the ship, according to veteran cruiserss, 30 minutes before departure. So if you want to do some long shore excursions such as a HOHO bus tour you should save them for dock ports. But I see no reason you can't snorkel on your own and control how long you do it.

irthday to celebrate in Las Vegas
Is it true that you have to wait one or two days after your 21st birthday to celebrate in Las Vegas?
