Default What to do in Banana Coast (Trujillo), Honduras with kids 9, 6, & 3

We will be stopping in Trujillo on our upcoming NCL cruise. This will be our first time in Hondorus. I've done independent shore excusions before in Mexico and looking for some guidance on Trujillo.

Our kids are 9, 6 and 3. We don't want anything that includes a cataman ride and really like the flexibility of not having to adhear to set cruise line excurisions.

Any recommendations?
