If it's a ship's excursion then don't worry about it.

If you've booked on your own then you are cutting it pretty close. If it is then I suggest booking a later excursion.

Take care,
Mike

You'll be fine.

We never book shore excursions through the cruise line and have never had any problems whatsoever anywhere in the world. The independent companies will wait for you, just like the ship's excursions. They don't want to leave anyone and cause any hassles - they need good reviews or they'll lose business.

But if the ship docks at 8:00, then you'll be able to get off the ship in plenty of time as you'll be able to disembark by 8:30, which gives you enough time to walk down the gangway. They'll meet you right at the pier, so it's not like you have to walk a great distance.

By the way, snorkeling and scuba diving in Bonaire is AWESOME!

Pete is correct. You'll have plenty of time either way. I initially thought Bonaire was a tender port. It is a docking port so you'll be off in no time.

Take care,
Mike

Hi,
I thank both of you that replied.
The shore trip is from the travel agency ( large company ) that I have booked the cruise with. I would think it's with the cruise ship trips.I'll check to be sure.

Hopefully, you'll find it's with an independent company. Price may be the same, itinerary may be the same, but with an independent company it's always alot less crowded and not as regimented, so they're much more fun.
