Splendor check in. Who is going on Splendor and when?

I was told we could not bring our friends and family with us for VIP check in. We are going in Jan 2012. So far we have booked 6 balcony cabins and are hoping for more. I would love it if we could all check in together. Any feedback for me?

I don't know the answer to this question. It's my guess that if they don't have a suite they can't get the VIP check in. Meaning you will board the ship before them. As a VIP I beleive you are pulled to the front of the line. However, if you do early check in 9AM-11AM there may not be a line at all. We checked in at 9:30AM and there was no line. Of course you have to wait for the ship to be cleared and boarding to start at which time you would board before the family/friends who do not have VIP check in. You can just meet them up on the Lido deck since the rooms will not be ready.

Katlady, yup - the results did come through, and I passed (it was, of course, thanks to all the luck and thoughts you guys gave!!) Unfortunately, I now have a "real" job as an attorney in Palm Springs.

When's your next cruise?? Surely you have another one coming up soon?

Congrats on passing the bar. I hear that is a tough test. I have no cruise booked. I have a cruise credit card with 800 cruise points. Meaning I can book a cruise with $800 off the price. But my hubby and I can't decide were to go. Airfare is the problem, because we want to go to the carribean.

Hey guys Going on my second cruise on the splendor 10/24/10 . Super excited , I called and asked whether or not they will have a halloween costume party , they will ! I can't wait . Started my packing list and all :-D

Iam on the samecruise and just took the suitcase out of the shed,now to pick out the clothes

I like to get things early , just in case . Although , it depends on where I am going . It also depends on how excited I am . In this case , I am extremely anxious to get on the ship already , hence the super early packing .

I heard in Stateroom B340 on the Queen Mary, where the purser was murdered, can't be rented it out anymore because it's too haunted. I just sent them an e-mail to ask if they have a Park N Cruise package. They said not at this time. So sadly I will be looking for another hotel. I have narrowed it down to the Crowne Plaza (San Pedro) or the Residence Inn (Long Beach) both have Park N Cruise packages.

Hope you guys have a good time. I was on the October 3rd sailing. Wish I was still there. I loved Peurto Vallarta. It was afr and away my favorite port. I really liked Mismaloya City Tour and Rhythms of the Night has to be the best shroe excursion ever! Anyway, go relax and have a good time.

The fun part is never a problem for me I do want to try out the Mexico water , however . Although Im pretty sure even the cold won't stop me. I'm taking all my summer clother and a sweatshirt with cardigans for evenings .

The only time you might need a sweater is on one of the sea days close to the US shore. I was glad that I'd take one on the way back as we got closer to home. It was a bit drafty standing on the back of lido then.
