American Queen has many exciting cruise events for 2013

American river cruises are rapidly growing in popularity and the American Queen is making quite a name for herself. I'm excited to say that we've listened to your comments on where you'd like to sail and the types of theme cruises you want to see and we've rolled that together to create our new 2013 schedule of voyages.

I'm also excited to tell you that we're following the lead of the legendary steamboat company Greene Line Steamers who renamed their company Delta Queen Steamboat Company after their most famous boat, the immortal Delta Queen. As of July 1, the Great American Steamboat Company will become the American Queen Steamboat Company in honor of our wildly-popular lady, the American Queen.

I can think of no more fitting honor than to rename our company in tribute to the boat that has single-handedly re-launched authentic steamboat river voyages in America.

I wonder if them not doing many "round trip" cruises will hurt them????

I think one way car rentals are becoming more common. I know we have benn doing more.
