On our cruise the entertainment was great. They had two production shows, the adult comedy night was very funny and the headliner was a Motown group that did some great songs. It was an excellent cruise but six days was not enough. I could have used a few more.

I love to do something special for NYE and so far we have been on two NYE cruises. We have also been in Las Vegas, Nevada - San Antonio, Texas and Funchal, Madeira.
In 2016 we will be ringing in the new on the Liberty of the Seas.

Mrs. does not drink alcohol but she has enjoyed the New Years Eve festivities on the cruise ships.
The place where I'm going this year will have a lot more drinking than on a ship. It's open bar all evening long until 2 AM. We will be with friends and people only drink what they want to.


Now I need to come up with an idea for 2017.

I've only cruised once on New Years and I will admit, it was a lot of fun, but I don't think I would do it again...You can go the week after for almost half the cost. I don't drink much either, but still enjoyed bring in a new year while cruising...

I very rarely go to New Years Eve parties .I prefer being home than taking the chance of being on the road with possibly drunk drivers.

When you do a new years eve cruise you don't have worry about other drivers.
