Default soups

We recently returned from The Carnival Conquest. The soups were wonderful. Some nights I ordered 2 different soups. I looked at the cookbook they offered for sale, but it seemed to have just a few included...anyone know where to get recipes? Ahhhh, with winter coming I'd be happy all season long!

ooo, Nanatravel, thanks! We had such a great time, hope you do too. My first cruise was a nightmare years ago, this one was perfect from beginning to end! Have fun, and try all the soups

I NEVER eat soup at home but have it every night on the cruise. They are always something new and different (for me anyway) and I haven't tried one yet that I didn't like.

This is the only recipe I've found. Haven't actually tried it, but it sounds good.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

Chilled Strawberry Bisque

This is the recipe if you've been trying to imitate the one you had on Carnival Cruise Lines. Serve in chilled soup bowls, and garnish with fresh sliced strawberries.

Prep Time: approx. 10 Minutes Original recipe makes 6 Servings. Makes a great appetizer.

2 Cups frozen strawberries

2 Cups milk

1 Cup heavy cream

1/2 Cups sour cream

2 Tbls white sugar

Directions

Puree strawberries, milk, cream, and sour cream in a blender or food processor until smooth. Stir in sugar to taste. Chill 8 hours or overnight in refrigerator before serving.
