Smile Tricky little buggers

This morning I was Looking at diffrent web sites looking at diffrent prices for a cruise we have planned for April. When I came across one that was $100 cheaper P.P then what we paid and offering a free drink package. So I wondered if I would be able to rebook and recieve a couple of drink packages for a couple hundred bucks not a bad deal . Then I thought I would see what cabins they were offering not bad there were some that would do.Then I dug a liitle deeper to find what the bottom line would be. And there lies the problem even thou it advertised at one hundred less then we booked their final price was over 1500 moreI know to all the experts out there who have been on a thousand cruises this is just common knowledge. But this only are secound cruise so alot of this stuff is still new to us

Unfortunately, when a new special is offered, it is almost always for "new" bookings, so you have to cancel and re-book at the new price and get the special. In most cases, your fare is not the same, so you don't save anything, in fact, you may be paying more for the fare in order to get the drink package. You are better off just keeping your present booking and be happy.

Advertisement specials are not the same as 'real pricing'. There's always a catch, which is why it's always best to book with your agent and let them find the best deal for you because 'best rate is not always the best deal'.

stick with your original cheaper booking and just add a drinks package.
