Smile First Time Cruiser?... Some Help

Welcome aboard your first cruise! I am normally one of your guest speakers... you know the guy with the corny crocodile jokes (they are just looking for a hand out), and pointing out all the fun things along our journey.

Getting ready, and even getting on a cruise ship, can be a bit confusing to first-timers so I have written some stuff down that might help... A Guide to Cruising, with some emphasis on simplifying and safety along the way.

A Guide to Cruising

The Guide and lots of photos of past cruises are completely free, and hopefully we will met on the waves for a proper introduction.

My next cruise will be on the Celebrity Infinity, 7 Oct 2016... San Francisco to Fort Lauderdale via the Panama Canal.

Sea ya!

Dr. Diego,
Is Infinity still doing the summer Alaska route? That was my first Alaska cruise and would love to re-do that again, but possibly a newer ship?

Yep, Infinity is still doing Alaska roundtrip from Vancouver.

If you want a newer ship, try the Solstice roundtrip out of Seattle. We absolutely love the Solstice-class ships. Plus, it's cheaper to fly roundtrip to Seattle than Vancouver.

However, if you want to see Hubbard Glacier, you'll have to do the Infinity as the Solstice doesn't go there.

Then again, if you want to see Glacier Bay, then you'll have to find another cruise line since Celebrity is still forbidden from going there. So, if you want to go there, I would take a look at Holland America.
