Default Kenai Fjords Question

We're trying to decide between the Kneai Fjords Tour all day trip to the Kenai Fjords National Park and a similar one offered by
Major Marine Tours. Can anyone recommend one?
Thanks.
Chuck

I have only gone with Kenai Fjords, it is important to determine the route you want to take and I only recommend the all day trips as the shorter ones barely get out of the bay.

I'd recommend Kenai Fjords Tour. The longer cruises stop (at least they used to) at Fox Island for lunch. -There's a real nice lodge there and I hope to go back some day to stay there -
Totally super! The island has a lot of history and the food..yum....all you can eat salmon and other great eats.
Just be prepared in case of motion sickness. When you get out in the gulf, the swells get real big! The captain of the boat spends a lot of time at the glaciers and will also try to chase down whales, otters, puffins, etc.

Good point- Yes definately take seasickness precautions. I have seen a lot of people sick on these tours- (3 trips). I always take the short acting draminine.

Last time I went on a whale watching cruise (in the Pacific off of Monterey, CA) I took bonine before we sailed out, wore the pressure point wrist bands, nibbled on candied ginger and brought along ginger snaps as part of my lunch. :o))
