Default Alaska toddler style

We booked a "spur of the moment cruise" in June and wondered if anyone can recommend activities, hiking trails, etc that would be suitable for a family cruising with a toddler. We won't have the luxury of formal excursions due to mandatory naptime. any help would be great. Are we the only ones out there cruising with the under 3 set? Claire

I would take a stroller. All towns are walkable from the ship, pick up walking tour maps and go from there. How much hiking can you realistically do???? Plenty of great trails but with a toddler I would be very selective if going at all.

You could take the White Pass RR in Skagway. A great trip and the toddler will almost surely fall asleep on the train.

The train has spurs that back right to the ships as well so it's easy to access.
