Default Back To the Frozen North

Sad to say we are back home. Sensation 2/22
I will admit that I have already looked at prices for future cruises.
As you all said, it is addictive.

We got off to a late and rough start. By Sunday afternoon I thought all of you crazy, and praying to get of the ship. On Monday morning - I felt differently. The rocking and rolling had minimized. That was the moment I knew I'd definately be back on the high seas. I wasn't even all that disappointed when we were told the Harbor Master in Grand Caymen had closed the port - 6 ft. swells. It was a fun day at Sea.

All in all I thnk it was a great vacation. There was only one group of very obnoxious preteen boys, that continually drew attention to themselves. As one of the Comedians said - it was children like them that drove parents to beating thier children, had to agree.
The food was good. Always found a chair by the pool. Enjoyed the shows and watching the games. Had a great time in Cozumel - kids swam with the dolphins. Daughter sang in the Talent show.

I wish now that I had booked a 7 day cruise. I was just getting relaxed when it was time to think about going home.

Thanks for all the good advice you guys share with everyone. It really helped knowing what to expect and what to pack.

JenY

JenY, I got off Sensation on Feb 13. Then had to drove home through the President's Day storm. When I got home i wrote the following ditty. Enjoy.

I'm back from my vacation
And I'm sorry I returned.
Yes, a mid-winter vacation
And I'm sorry I returned.
Because Jack Frost is a nippin'
At my tropical sunburn.
I've tried to think of workin'
But it's just no use.
I tried to think of workin'
But it's just no use.
When friends tell me funny stories
I just can't get amused.

I got the landlocked, snowbound, post-cruise blues.
Another blizzard's coming.
That's all that's in the news.
Oh no!
How I need another cruise!
A post-tropical depression,
That's my post cruise blues.

I came from snorkeling and diving
Around the coral shoals,
I came from snorkeling and diving
Around the coral shoals,
From saltwater all around me
To rocksalt in my soles.

I got the landlocked, snowbound, post-cruise blues.
Another blizzard's coming.
That's all that's in the news.
Oh no!
Get me on another cruise!
A post tropical depression,
That's my post-cruise blues

Tropic deprivation
Gives me the post-cruise blues.

Steve--also with PCD.
