Default Dining Room Table

We originally booked 4 couples but one couple had to cancel and the other said they would like to try other areas on the ship for dinner instead of the dining room each night. My dilemma, we have a table for 8. I don't want just the other couple and us sitting at a table for 8. Should I request a larger table now rather than later? We sail on March 4. Any advice?

Yes, if you want more company at dinner, have your travel agent put in a request now for a table for 10.

If you stay with a table of 8 more than likely you will have other guests.
Table for eight is normally round and easy conversation to all.
A table of 10 can be rectangle and difficult to speak with others at the other end of the table. People usually pick a spot to sit and remain there for the entire cruise, human nature.

Just putting in my opinion as we had a table for 10 and 12 and hardly got to know the others.
