Nope! I was thinking about it and I think it's called Don Q. It's a brand not commonly available in the US. I liked it, though!

According to the legendsofpr.com website there are 12 different types of Puerto Rican rum. I think they let you taste at least 6 on their food tour.

Need some cruise help?

My very favorite excursions have all been in Alaska. Whale watching - every time I go, it's a beautiful, spiritual experience. I'm glad that I've taken the smaller "speed" type boats during these excursions because we get from location to location quickly as the captain stays in contact via radio with (I'm assuming) spotters. NEVER been disappointed and would go back in a heartbeat!
Also in Juneau, the Taku Lodge floatplane trip is well worth the money. A beautiful flight up over the mountains & glaciers. Each passenger has their own window, headset for narrative. The views are indescribable! Lunch at the lodge was wonderful and the surroundings were amazing. I had a horrid fear of flying up until the year I took this excursion & it cured me! A man in our group was allowed to sit in the co-pilot seat on the flight out, so I asked the pilot if I could sit in the co-pilot seat on the flight back and he let me!! My husband could NOT believe I was actually doing this but I was determined to conquer my fear. Now, I LOVE to fly.
I also love the White Pass Railway trip out of Skagway. I'm a train nut so this is a "must-do" for me when I'm in AK.

Default Capt Tony's Sand dollar cruise Freeport Bahama

We just got back from or 4day NCL and did Capt Tony's Catamaran Sanddollar cruise at Freeport. $45/PP (doesn't include transportation)

OMG it was great! It was just 4 of us on Capt Tony's boat. He met us at the Cruise port and he found transportation for us! Once we got to his catamaran, he told us to make ourself at home. He had a large container of bahama mamas that was very tastey.

The boat was neat. It had a kitchen, dinning area, 2 bathrooms and bedrooms inside. We put our stuff inside and went out on deck and cruised to our snorkeling spot. His helper guided us around the reef. My and brother have never snorkeled and they took time with them and made them at ease. They did great. We saw many fish, starfish, a prickly starfish which the guide brought up and let us touch it. He put it on our arm and it wiggled up our arm. so cool. He also found Three large conch that he gave us and let us keep the shells (they kept the conch). After a couple hours snorkeling there we went to the sand dollar location where we got to snorkel for sand dollars. They were everywhere! I got like 20...my sister and brother got way more. They also got some neat looking shells, some sea biscuits, and the shell of a sea earchant.

My husband and I usually book through the cruiselines. But going out on a limb here I have learned, it pays to research and take advise from other cruisers. What an awesome time! If I'm ever back in Freeport, I would definetly book this again!!

Default St. Lucia Spa Day

We did a 'spa day' at a resort in St. Lucia - booked through Serenitytrvl.com. Met us at the ship - took us to a beautiful dive boat - road along the coast - met at the dock by the Resort Host who took us to the "scenic" lounge - 1.5 hr. pedicure/couples massage overlooking the ocean - cooked to order lunch - time on the beach with snorkel gear & kayaks.... completely & totally relaxing!

In Jamaica we did our own thing and took a cab to Couples Resort San Souci. Couples is a all adult couples resort and the day pass, which costs $50.00 each, included all drinks and food as well as access to all that is available there, 2 beaches, swim up pools, spa's ect.

In Panama we did the canopy tour which was great and in Costa Rica we did the bus tour to San Jose which we enjoyed greatly.

Thumbs up

My favourite excursion was in St. Kitts. A group of us did Sea Trek and loved it. We saw lots of marine life and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it if St. Kitts is one of your ports of call.

We booked through this company.

In The Netherlands in springtime De Keukenhof and the tulip fields is the most unique thing to see.

For private 2-Day tours have a look at www.holland-is.com and for more information on the Netherlands follow Blog Holland Travel Expert

All of the posts that I've read sound GREAT!!! I look forward to doing some of them. I found this information to help with the cost of my future excursions and I wanted to share it with everyone! ***Edited to remove commercial reference***

Stingray City in Grand Cayman! Booked a jetski tour with Ebanks and it was great because we went to the stingrays then snorkeling at the reef all while on a jetski.

Most of everyone's favorite are action tours. Very little on Europe, far east or down under. These other places are site seeing type tours, not usually action, but also great. My most memorable was going back to Normandy bringing back sad memories. We don't see ancient buildings, cathedrals, ruins, etc in the US, so that makes those tours very good.

Must admit, some of my favorite are also action type. Snorkeling & kayaking in Hawaii, helicopter up to the active volcano on big island, kayaking in Alaska, helicopter onto the glacier ice in Alaska, all the tours in Galapagos Islands, so many more. And of course sting ray city as has been mentioned many times. I have a pic of myself holding a sting ray that comes up whenever I turn on my computer. unfortunately, at my advanced age most of the action tours are behind me.

Experiences over the years enabled me to have all the answers, but not necessarily corresponding with your questions.

My favorite would be in jamica we would take towles, silverware from the ship take into town get free cab rides, barter for goods, and go deep into town where most dont go. You experience jamaica in a different perspective and the people are more grateful for the things you give out. I k ow some of you will say it is wrong, however if you think about it the cruise lines come in build a nice resort hire a few of the locals and make us think there doing a great service for these impoverished country's. You give a local $5 for a trinket they will most likely spend it on drugs or alcohol give them a beach towel or a bed sheet there kids will have comfort.
