Default Ceramics

On our recent cruise aboard the Golden, a few in our group enjoyed (to our own surprise) the Ceramics on board. This activity was available daily from 4 to 5pm. You were able to purchase a small pre-fired piece of cermamics, and then paint it. We came back for severald days in a row until our cermaic was completed. It was then fired in a kiln and then delivered to our room on our last day.

This was a nice, relaxing activity, and something perfect to occupy our time between the afternoon of laying out in the sun, and just before getting ready for dinner.

Our group will be sailing next on the Sun (an slighlty older and smaller ship), and was interested if this activity or anything similar is available on that ship?

Thanks for your replies.

I was on the Dawn Princess in May the sister to the Sun and they did ceramics onboard her so even though the Sun is smaller than the Golden I would think they have ceramics onboard the Sun. The staff onboard said they were teaching ceramics to all the cruise directors staff for all the ships.

They had ceramics on the Coral in April as well. Sounds like a trend.

It appears that kids of all ages enjoy the ceramics painting in this photo I took on the Caribbean Princess... although dad seems to prefer drinking out of his ceramics. There were also pottery throwing classes.
