Hi Danielle,
I got an error message, that that page no longer exists, so didn't see the dress, but it sounds like a prom type dress, which would be perfect for either of the formal evenings on your cruise. As long as you feel good in it, go ahead and wear it.

You will see a lot of different formal outfits, just wear what fits and you like to wear, and you'll be fine.

Have fun!

Hi Danielle,

Your link didn't work , but I don't think you can ever be over dressed for formal night!

I'm sure your dress will be fine! From what I've seen, many of the younger ladies dress up more than us "old folks"! I'm sure you'll look beautiful! Be sure to have formal pictures taken to remember your cruise.

Have a great cruise and enjoy formal night!

First, I'll activate your link so others won't have to cut and paste.

The dress looks great, and no doubt will look even better when you wear it. It's definitely appropriate for the "formal" evenings on your cruise. JTOL, I'll bet that a pink crystal necklace with matching earrings would be just the thing to set it off.

Have a great cruise!

Norm.

Hi Danielle,

The dress is beautiful! You will be the "belle of the ball"!

Norm's idea of the pink crystals is great! I hope you'll post some pictures in the Photo Gallery here after your cruise so we can all see how beautiful you look!

Thanks eveyone for your advice.

Norm,
I'm more then likly going to wear my circle diamond necklace with diamond imbedded hoops. I've tried the dress on with the necklace and the hoops and it looks gorgeous. I inherited the jewelrey from my great-great-grandmom so it means alot to me.

Sounds stunning!

I actually had thought of diamonds, but decided not to suggest that option becuase (1) some folks on these boards are price conscious and (2) some folks don't want to risk losing very valuable items if, for excample, their luggage disappears.

Anyway, have a fantastic cruise!

Norm.

We deffinetly will take lot and lots of pictures im very picture happy... lol

I never thought about "loosing your luggage" ... maybe I won't bring them... but if I do i'll make sure they are in my carry on or purse. Or maybe i'll go with the pink crystals.

But thanks every one for the complements on my dress!

And since the cruise is in 12 more days, I will put some of the pictures up within 3 weeks. Or as soon as we get back home.

... don't let someone scare ya... If you want to bring the necklace your grandmother gave you... put it in your purse or carryon.. and keep them close... i always do that with the pearls my grandmother gave me...

Great! Somehow I suspect that you'll make the dress look even better than the model in the catalog!

BTW, you might want to bring a dressy shawl or wrap to throw over your shoulders if you end up sitting under an air conditioning duct in the dining room or at the show. Some ships do have some chilly spots.

WOW!
That is gorgeous! Wear whatever jewelry you like. I take my good stuff on cruises in a little cloth roll up bag that fits in my purse. Not a problem!
Enjoy your cruise.

D'yah hear the whistles??? You've caused hundred panting guys with drooling tongues tipping their belt buckles to thinking along the lines of "Whew! She's well stacked! Wish we could see her face...."

Seriously, you make the dress look phenomenal even if your photographer cut off what undubtedly is the most beautiful, charming, and charismatic part of the whole package.

BTW, which cruise do we need to book to see this magnificent fashion parade up close and personal???

Norm.

this dress fits you beautifully. I would pick up a lacy shawl or wrap to cover those bare shoulders. The dining rooms and show lounges can be chilly.
