Default Boarding Port Everglades

We have been on over 30 cruises. We have never cruiesd with Celebrity till now. We are leaving in two days and I just received a e-mail telling us beacause we are on deck 3 to arrive at 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Is this just a ploy
to make sure everyone does not try to board early? If I get there at noon would they make me wait till 2:30 pm? Please let me know. Thanks Ed

This is a procedure they instituted several months ago. They are just trying to make embarkation for everyone. It has created a number of problems especially for those flying in the same day. Those who get there at anytime they wish have not had a problem. Hint, hint

I would not get there at noon, it will be mobbed, go for 11.

That sounds even better. We park at Park-N-Go so I will get there 10:45 am. Perfect. Thanks Ed

Please let me know if you are happy with Park-N-Go. Do they shuttle you to the ship?

Yes Park-n-go was great. When you get off 595 you will go over the new bridge. Turn left at the first stop light once you see the gates to enter the port. Drop off your car had the attendant you paid resevation, they load you luggage for you and off you go. You must leave your keys but when you get back they drive you around the lot and right to your car. So convinent. We got there 10:50 am and were on the Celebrity Constlation 15 minutes eating lunch. Fastest embark ever. Ed

While in sure every cruise line would like staggered boarding times, I doubt that will become a reality...can't blame them for trying though..lol. Glad it all worked out for you!
