Default New ship Britannia...

The new P&O ship Britannia is heading towards her home port of Southampton for the naming ceremony by HM The Queen on the 10th, sadly few cruisers are invited, just media & minor celebrities.
We are however on the 14 night maiden voyage on the 14th March.

Enjoy the maiden John. Hopefully you'll do a full report either here or on CL.

As Bernie said, hope you have a great time on the Maiden, and I look forward to hearing all about it.

Alan.

Default to whet your appetite

I have posted a few more pics from around the ship which will hopefully be of interest. My top tip so far, for those who like to try Real Ales, is to look at the foldout inside the back cover of the beer list in Brodies, there are a range of ale 'flights' each comprising of a third of a pint of 3 different real ales, which is a great way to try a range of flavours.

The ship itself is far nicer than I was expecting, originally I wasn't too sure if she'd be for us, but from what we have seen, we definitely look forward to sailing on her.

Alan

Did you do a visit then?
We got back last weekend & thought the ship was just wonderful..one or two little problems but nothing to worry about. Elegant we thought.

Hi John & welcome back to British Summer Time - I hope you had your wet weather gear to hand.
Yes we managed to get a look around the ship, and wish we could have stayed on longer

Will you be posting a report and/or pics? would be really interested in reading all about how things went from what we saw we are certainly going to look to book quite soon.

Looking forward to hearing & seeing more,
Alan.
