Default Kindles and iPads and Books, Oh My

I am reading an old Daniel Silver book in the Gabriel Alon series called "The Messenger." I have a list of about ten preorders that I'm waiting for but nothing in February.

Hmm, I have at least half a dozen waiting for me. It's going to be several days before I start reading again as I am doing TV marathons at the moment.

I have no more room in my house for books. I will be donating a lot to my local library once the weather gets better .I also fear that I may have to use my wife's Nook to read future books as I can no longer read small print.

I am currently enjoying Joshua :A Brooklyn Tale .The main character in this book of fiction lives in the neighborhood I grew up in.

LF, I am getting to the point you are with books. I am on the last bookshelf that I can fit in my home. After that books are going to have to be on my kindle. I had boxes of books in storage in the garage about two years ago that were ruined in a flash flood, so no more storing there.

I took a few weeks off of reading to watch marathons of TV shows. I finally started a book last night...a little paranormal romance, Jeaniene Frost's Bound By Flames.

What are you guys reading right now? I checked out the first four New Orleans suspense series books from Lisa Jackson and am about to start the fourth one. They are not bad. I don't know when I'll be able to get the rest of them as they are checked out right now.

I just ordered (used), using abebooks.com the entire series Jane Yellowrock by Faith Hunter. I hope the series is will be something like the Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series. We'll see.

Happy reading mates.

If there's an author who can get your mind off of your problems, it's Daniel Silva. I'm reading one of his books now. It helps.

I'm glad that you've got something to take your mind off of things right now, Judy. Books are wonderful for distraction when things get stressful.

LF, I can certainly understand why you've not been in the mood to read with all of the loss that you have experienced of late.

I've bought second hand copies of series by LA Banks, Faith Hunter and Anne Bishop. I figure these, the pile of eight books I have waiting, and the ones by authors I've already read purchases I'll make should be enough to get me through the summer.

Aside from Book Club books I am re-reading books in my book cases ,many that I have had since the 50's.

A terrible experience as Ms.Hoffman was only there to see copies of her book.

I think book readings are great...a family friend wrote a book called The Hookers Daughter, which takes place in our old Boston Neighborhood...I invited her to do a reading at my Dining Diva Dinner, and it was just fabulous....many at the dinner knew her or her family......if I lived in Florida, I'd go to more, at a great book store, called Murder on the Beach!

I just finished the latest two books from the Black Dagger Brotherhood by J R Ward.

Trip, I finally upgraded to a Fire. It's the cheap $49.99 version but I've never had anything like it (iPad etc) before, so I am loving the thing.

I was supposed to do a reading of my book at a Barnes and Noble in NYC in 1988 but we had scheduling problems .
My friend Dr.John Stangel gave a reading of one of his books instead.

I'm reading Homer's Odyssey, by Gwen Cooper, about a blind from birth cat and his escapades! I'm also reading The Rest Of Us by Stephen Birmingham. It's about the Eastern European Jew's who came to the US.
Len, I looked at The Headmaster's Wife, but it's out of my regular price range. If you loved it, let me know and I'll buy it!

Our local library put aside books for my Book Club and I took out a copy today.
