Default Grand Caymen

Just wondering with the hurricane what is left to do on the island?
Heard there was much damage. How about shopping?

We are going to do the stingray swim when we are there next month. Our ship is scheduled to stop there and Captain Marvin's says they are up and running. Don't know about the shopping part of it.

My son just returned and said it appeared to be fine now. He has been there before so he does know what Georgetown looked like prior to the hurricane. He did not explore the entire island though and understand in some areas there is still considerable repairs to be made.

the repairs are ongoing. The Sting Ray tours are up and running, and most of the dive shops are offering snorkeling and SCUBA diving.
If you just want to go to the beach grab a cab to 7-mile beach.

We were scheduled with Nativeways. Other have recommended Captain Marvins, Captain Crosbys, or Soto's. You can reach Nativeways through their website at www.nativewatersports.com or by e-mailing them at: [email protected]
I think Captain Marvins is www.captainmarvins.com I'm not sure about Sotos and Crosbys. I'm sure you can find them by doing a search. Look for those doing excursions to Stingray City Sandbar.

I noticed Nativeways still has their hurricane post on their website, so you might want to e-mail them instead of going through the website. I'm not sure how much access they have, but I know they are up and running.
