What Do You Think About The Silver Spirit vs. Silversea's Other Ships?

Now that the Silver Spirit has been cruising for a while it would be interesting to compare and contrast it with Silversea's other ships. It is larger, but does it add new or different onboard experiences? Does it loose something that the other ships have?

For some comparison, originally many people said they would never sail Seabourn's larger ships...then they tried them...then some said they like them better, but others said "never again".

What are your thoughts?

I have been on all of the Silversea classes and I have to say that I really like the food options on the new Silver Spirit.

The restaurant on the smaller ships was OK, but a bit stiff for a luxury line. But the Star Supper Club has a lot of tapas-like options that remind me a little of what Celebrity is doing with QSine on Eclipse.

It is kind of a wacky new way to look at food - different ways to serve and unusual tastes. It's a cool thing, I like it.

I had an interesting experience onboard the Silver Spirit this past May 2011. We cruised to Italian ports and embarked on a remarkable excursion to Rome. During our cruise we stumbled on somewhat of a 2,000 year old mystery which we finally solved with our visit to Rome. Silversea does such a great job with their excursions. When comparing the Silver Spirit with the smaller ships in the Silversea fleet, you'll get different reactions...some like the larger Silver Spirit because it has more dining options, others prefer the intimacy of the smaller ships.
