(1 December 2010) Ultra-luxury Silversea Cruises is offering US$1,000 per suite ($500 per person) in complimentary shore excursions on 13 voyages exploring the Caribbean and Far East in 2011. This extraordinary limited-time offer is available on new bookings made by 31 December 2010.
The Complimentary Shore Excursion Credit may be used towards the purchase of any Silver Shore excursion -- none is excluded. All are designed to provide enriching experiences that highlight the cultural, natural and historic treasures that lie ashore. Float down the Perfume River in Hue and relive Vietnam's royal grandeur or go zip-lining through St Kitts' tropical rainforest -- the choice is all yours.
Steve Tucker, Silversea's vice president of field sales for North America, said: "What's really great about this offer is that the Complimentary Shore Excursion Credit does not have restrictions on the types of shore excursions that qualify. You can apply your credit to any of the excursions we offer, including our exclusive Silver Shore Collection tours and private arrangements our Silver Shore Concierge can arrange for you on board."

We are scheduled for Silver Shadow 3110. I noticed a tour listed with "0" listed. Not sure if that means no charge or just a mistake. This cruise got messed up with he tsunami, but we elected to stay on. Sometimes what you get for nothing is nothing.
We have some private things arranged except for Russia.
