I am a first time cruiser. I will be leaving next Monday on the Carnival Ecstacy, and going by myself. My goal is to really let loose and enjoy the 1st vacation I have had in 15 years. I am 37 and single. Looking for tips from people on the best way to enjoy the cruise. Seating choices...etc.
Thanks to all who reply!
Firstly, you will have the "time of your life". Just go with the flow.......head to the Piano Bar, grab a drink at any of the bars on board and there are plenty to choose from. Hopefully your dinner table will have a few single people....maybe a few males. ........If you are not happy with your table .....ask the Maitre'de to change.
Head to the shows.........(especially the midnite X-Rated shows) they are a great laugh. The ports are "so so", but I cruise for the sea and onboard ship life....having just completed my 18th cruise aboard Carnival since 1995 (and it was on the Ecstacy in June). Am booked again on the Victory for November and will enjoy my 20th in February 2001. Have also cruise solo aboard RCCL and Princess over the last few years.
Happy cruising............feel free to communicate with me.
I just returned from a 7 day cruise (Eatern) on the Victory. (My 14th cruise) It was was one of the BEST Carnival cruises I've been on. It's much more "upscale" than their earlier ships, and the service was also greatly improved. I met lots of fun people, and had a great time:-)
Enjoy your cruise,
PS: The "Irish Sea Bar" is the place to be! :-)
Thanks for your e-mail. I always look forward to cruising.......in fact I never realized that there are so many people like me who are addicted to cruising! Feel free to communicate to me.....maybe we will end up on a cruise together one day.....even in the Irish Bar!
