Thanksgiving: Triumph or Paradise?
Any thoughts on which would be the better ship? I am female, late twenties, traveling alone and just looking for a fun week and some fun folks to hang out with ... since it is a holiday sailing it will probably be mostly families on both ships, but it would be nice if there were some other folks who liked to dance and stay up late roaming about! Romance not necc., but knowing that there is at least the possibility of a bit of flirting is appealing :). Mostly I am just looking to drink a bit laugh a lot ... any advice would be the better choice for my situation would be appreciated!

Re: Thanksgiving: Triumph or Paradise?
Southerngirl,
Better still.........come cruising with Storm'n Norman & Sherry - The Cruise Queen on the Victory departing Miami 18th November for a week of partying, drinking, dancing............and more partying. We open the bars and close them! It's Thanksgiving that week and so we will all be "Giving Thanks" to the fact that "We'll Be Cruising Baby!" Definitely don't do the Paradise...........the ship's non smoking and the "party crowd" thing doesn't happen! If you must make a choice, then head for the Triumph (sailed upon her solo in August 2000 and February 2001). She's a great ship! Hope to see you though on the VICTORY! Re: Thanksgiving: Triumph or Paradise?
I agree with Stormin' Norman. Even the Hotel Director on the Paradise told me it's not a ship for singles. While I love the no-smoking, it seems the party-hearty crowd migrates to the other Carnival ships that do allow it.

Dear Pat & Norman,
Thanks for the great advice! I checked out the Victory and really liked what I read (the Irish Bar sounds especially appealing) so I will probably see you there! |
