A few hundred 40+ singles on a cruise? The number and age would vary depending on the ship and length of cruise. I suggest you check the singles cruise calender (recently posted), and if you see one listed that interests you, call the agency and ask about the number of reservations they have and ballpark average age. They should be willing to help you with this information.
More and more agencies are trying to attract the over-40 crowd. Check out the 2004 Cruisemates Singles Calendar, find a cruise that interests you, then call the agency and ask them about the age group booking.
Just wondering if you found out anything? I am over 40 and considering going on a cruise myself and have the same types of questions....of course, the one that I am sure we both would have is: Will it really be worth our time and money? I am looking to meet some genuinely nice people, preferably men, but female friends would be nice too. As I mentioned in the message that I just posted....I guess I need to start thinking outside my protective box and just do it...I want to....just hesitant....and I need to quit being hesitant and go for it....how about you? Keri
Keri, I honestly feel that a cruise is the absolute best vacation for a single person. Do visit the Singles Section of Cruisemates and check out the 2004 singles cruise Calendar. I am sure you will find one to your liking. You will have a great time, believe me. Just remember to be out and about and not in your cabin. Mingle. Mingle. Mingle. And please read all my articles on singles cruising.
