Myself and two single friends (in our 40's-look younger) are looking to cruise this July 2004. We like fun, younger crowds. Looking at Legend from New York, but it's summer and we're afraid it may be a lot of families. (Been there, done that). Any input appreciated.
Went on 3-day out of NYC July 2003 (myself +2 teen sons). I'd have to say it was about 50/50. I think that the shorter cruises attract a wide range of people. There were ALOT of party people onboard and not just singles. There were alot of groups traveling together (family reunions, bachelor /bachelorette parties etc.). I'm looking to go out of NYC again this July but on a longer cruise. Haven't yet decided on Miracle or Legend. My sons are old enough to venture on their own and I've been posting on this sight to find others in the same situation. I am in my early 40's also (but I look it - ).
Have you been on a cruise before? Don't mean to insult you but just asking. Carnival is the line to be on. Been on 5 cruises 4 with Carnival and no better time! Definitely agree a short cruise draws more singles. Looking to take another cruise myself just can't decide when. If you have questions or want to chat I am at email@example.com
