Okay Jen. It's awfully hard to remember everyone when there are 500 or more singles with the group. I do remember the other Jen, from Colorado I think, because of her Halloween costume with her rosy cheeks for the world to see. I don't think I'll ever forget that, but what can I say other than "I'm a guy!". I'm the one that they called "Barry's brother, Harry" because Brenda, Mike or Deb said I looked like him. I didn't see that, myself. Take care.
Well, my real name is Myles. When I first joined the Singlescruise site, I wasn't able to use the name "WhiteKnight" , which is my call sign on the job because they said that name was already being used,so I opted for the name "Bodyguard". Since then, I decided that I could use the name WhiteKnight,if I added the letters PPO after it. (PPO standing for personal protection officer) I drop the PPO on this site since it's not necessary here, but everywhere else I have to use WhiteKnightPPO. I hope that explanation wasn't too confusing.
it will be good to see you again.I have 13 more days to the halloween cruise. If there is anyone that you want to say hi too from last years halloween cruise just tell me or maybe even the mardi gras cruise alot of them are going on the halloween cruise.See you in january.
Well, I leave this Saturday for San Juan to board the Golden Princess on Sunday to the southern caribbean(St Thomas/St john, St Kitts, Dominica, Isla Margarita and Aruba) with another singles group. Every once in a while someone puts their message from your upcoming cruise on the site from last year's Halloween cruise by mistake and I get it. I saw that Alicia, Deanna and Lenora were going. I think I saw 2 other ladies names on there that I recognized, but I can't remember now. I think one was from Florida and the other from Bermuda. I just imagine there're probably a couple of dozen or more that I know from those other cruises. I considered going, but I couldn't pass up Princess, since I've never been on their ships and have heard so much about them. However, the real clincher was the southern caribbean. I love that area of the world and on top of that, I had some bad luck in the western caribbean twice in the last 2 years. I had the feeling somebody was trying to tell me something! I hope you guys have a good time with no problems.Maybe I'll catch some of the others including Barry, Mike, Brenda and Deb along with you in January. As you know, there is Nancy, Blaze and Tom on this message board who are going. Well, I have to go. Have fun. Myles
Sounds good! I went on the Mardi Gras cruise last year and other than it being out of New Orleans and missing Jamaica and Grand Cayman and having all water activities cancelled in Cozumel, it was good. I know you'll have a great time, especially since the Conquest is a great ship, but I'm still leery of that area. I'll probaby never take another cruise that depends on the access of a river to get to the ocean. I realize that was kind of a fluke to have an ship accident at the mouth of the river, causing the river to be closed to ship traffic, but I'm tired of the western caribbean anyway. I'll catch you one of these times. Have fun! Myles
Sorry Myles for incorrectly spelling your name this morning, I was half awake
I've also been in contact with a few others from our cruise. I can't wait until OUR message board is ready! Don't get me wrong, I enjoy visiting CruiseMates, it'll just be nice to meet others from our cruise.
Well, if that's the only spelling mistake you've made, you're doing good. I'd hate to think of all the spelling mistakes I've posted. It shouldn't be too long before the message and chat site for our cruise is ready to go. I would guess it'll be up and running within a month. I'll be talking to you soon. Myles
The January 16th cruise on the Valor will be my 5th with singlescruise.com. For anyone who has not had the experience of traveling with this agency, you are in for a great time! There are anywhere from 200 to over 600 singles on their cruises and they provide several 'group escorts' who are in charge of arranging private cocktail parties, games and activities so that we can all 'bond'!!, private shore excursions and a pre-party the night prior to departure of the cruise. Dinner time on the ship is alot of fun. We have our own tables reserved just for our group and you can sit at any of those throughout the cruise so that you can dine with different people. The age group ranges anywhere from those in their 20's through 60's-a great diverse group of people! Everyone fits in because everyone is there to have fun! There are many, many repeat cruisers. You will make friends that will remain your friends long after the cruise is over. This past year, we have had several 'reunions' for past cruisers in Nashville and Las Vegas to meet up and get the chance to hang out before our next cruise!
Singlescruise.com will find a roommate for you, if you don't have one. Their single supplement fee, if you don't want a roommate, is very reasonable too. I've done both and never had a problem with a roommate. Also, a few months prior to the cruise, a group site will be set up on Yahoo Groups so that we can all get to know one another before meeting on the ship or at the pre-party. It's such an awesome time! If anyone has questions, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be happy to relate my experiences with you. For all of you going on the Valor on Jan 16th, I'm looking forward to a great time on a brand new ship!!
Hi Nancy, Well, I survived the southern caribbean(San Juan, St Thomas, St Kitts, Dominica, Isla Margarita and Aruba) on Princess, but just barely. They just keep getting better. Now I'm ready for that Valor cruise in January. I see we have some new mates on here. Welcome aboard, you guys. I'm a little on the well-done side, my voice is almost gone and I'm having a hard time walking straight, but I'm very very happy. I never knew feeling so bad could feel so good. I know that doesn't make any sense, but I know what I mean. We are going to have a time in the Bahamas, St Thomas and St Maarten. I don't know if they have a Carlos n' Charlie's, Senor' Frogs or Hardrock, but if they do, save me a seat or at least a piece of dance floor. See you later.
Blaze, WhiteKnight and all others on the Jan 16 Valor Cruise.... Have you visited the new board set up for us by singlescruise? Not sure if I'm allowed to post it here, but wanted to let you know it's up. Here's the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Single...y2005/messages
