My name is Dave and my best friend Rich and myself have just booked the 3/6/05 SinglesCruise.com cruise on the Carnival Victory. I am 35 and my friend is 37. We are from Rhode Island. We are looking to have a great time on this cruise and meet new people. We are two easy going guys and wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who is considering booking this cruise.
We are heading down to Miami the night before the cruise on 3/5/05 to hang out and join in the pre-cruise festivities.
Anyone who is looking to book this cruise, please drop us a line, and maybe we can meet up down in Miami..
I just booked this same cruise through Singlescruise.com , I am extremely excited.
This is my first singles cruise. I will be staying in Miami the night before, I actually got an early flight, so I am arriving by noon on Saturday. I am not sure what pre-cruise activities are scheduled for the singlescruise.com group. Did they send you this information?? Or do you know where I can find a schedule of activities??
I am looking forward to the Eastern Itinerary, my previous cruises were both
to the Western Caribbean. I am 34 years old, from WI. I booked a balcony fare & taking my chances by letting them set me up with a roommate. I just could not find anyone that wanted to go on such short notice. I am a fly by the seat of my pants kind of girl.
I am ready to book myself also. My friends are busy, married or tied down with kids. Im young looking 39 and love to travel also in much need of a fun vacation.I am also considering 2 other cruises on cruisingforlove.com but you sound a lot like myself. I sent you an e mail so check it for my note. Maybe I will book this cruise instead. C
I had NO idea the Carnival Victory cruise on March 6-13 is a "singles" cruise 'til I perused these message boards. Anyway...I'm April, 25 from NJ. Two of my good friends - Heather, 24 and Kate, 28 - will be joining me for what will no doubt be a great time. I suppose we're on the younger end of the "singles" spectrum (I read age can range from mid 20s-mid 50s), so I hope we'll "fit in" age-wise! ;-) We've got an ocean view room, mid-ship. And we're also flying down on the 5th for a late afternoon/evening/morning in South Beach! Perhaps we'll see you around!
You and your friends are not the only young people on board so don't worry about your age. I'm sure you will be just fine. Just relax and concentrate on having a great time and look forward to meeting lots of people. I'm only 33 and since i'm travelling with 4 female relatives who will no doubt be looking for guys other than me to party with, I'll be looking for some other girls besides them to have fun with. Hopefully we will run into each other on the ship and all party together. If you wanna know more about me feel free to email me personally. I'm from Toronto and this is my first cruise ever so i'm excited to see what it has to offer. Hope you have a blast cuz I plan to enjoy myself one way or another...lol. See ya on board.
Could someone post a link for pricing on this cruise?
(don't suggest googling it, I'll be force to sic my dog on you :o) )
Now for the silly-ass noob never-been-on-a-cruise questions:
- would this cruise have to young of a crowd for a guy in his mid-40's?
- what kind(s) of partying is there to partake in?
- any dancing? haven't danced in ages...
I'm looking (NEED) to take a vacation (out of range of the cell phones)
to escape, relax, and get back into the stream of things.
A forty-ish guy will have a GREAT time on a singlescruise.com cruise. I'm 34, went on the New Year's cruise all by myself, and I spent every night in the disco with new friends from age 22-64. Our cruise had about 300 singles, so there were plenty of people of all ages and walks of life to meet. I suggest you book it now, you won't regret it. If I had the money or the ability to take more time off from work, I'd go on that March cruise too!
