Default 1st Cruise Alone

I am a 50 widowed female, looking to take a much needed vacation. Thinking of a cruise in the next 6 months. Interested in being with people my own age who are also single. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.

Try a singles cruise they will match you with a female roomate, you can call and see if they can find someone in your age group. I went on my first trip alone, booked with crusing for love, Im 39 single they matched with a married woman in her 40's, we got along great, the group bonded quick and we all keep in touch by email.

If I could afford my own cabin I might get one but it's too expensive. I got lucky it's a toss of the dice and you have to be willing to make the best of any situation, however Im sure you will make friends if you book with a singles group, I made many new friends younger and older. I thought many of the ladies and men in the older group were really fun to hang out with, and had a lot of energy. Our group was ages 20's to 60's I guess most of us being somewhere in the middle. We e mail and keep in touch I wish I would have done this years ago, and I plan to keep cruising with singles groups it's a wonderful way to meet people. Good luck!

Be sure to check out the singles cruise calendar in Cruisemates' singles section. Also read through the articles for solo cruisers.

I too have been on a number of Singles cruises and believe me they are a blast . The ones that are a few dollars more attract the more muture group . I'm 53 and I enjoy being with the younger group It keeps me young and I can keep up with them (YEA!). I 've met some fanstatic people on these cruises and they are my life long friends .I'm going on the Halloween cruise with VacationstoGo.com Oct 30th and that is going to be a more muture group and its going to be a blast !!

Good Luck with your venture

Cruising is the only way to Go
