I did research and there are few cruises in the month of May Vacations to Go doesn't have anything and Single Cruise only has 2, one to Europe and and 3 night cruise.

This cruise caught my eye because it's a single cruise on the west coast and it will have little or no children since most will be in school. I would not dare take a Carnival cruise in the summer!!!

Default Looking for a roomie on this one.

I'm very interested in this particular cruise. Would also like a roomie that has some of the same interests. I've been a casino dealer for 12 years, but probably won't do much gambling as I am taking this as a get away from the industry. I'm 35yr single straight W/F who does not smoke, but I do drink socially and enjoy having a lot of fun. I currently live in WA and will be flying down to CA for this trip. Oh yeah, this will be my frist cruise. If anyone is interested in sharing a room, email me at Shedaisy_Shannon@yahoo.com.

After reading the recent messages above you ladies have found roommates. Since this is my first long cruise I plan on rooming solo. Already book and now playing the waiting game.

Hope you ladies can save me a dance on the ship.

Default Dolphin swim excursion

I don't know how many singles are going on this cruise, but there are atleast a couple of us. Me and my roomie have booked our trip and have also booked the dolphin swim excursion in our first port (second time slot). Hope to see you there!!!

Shedaisy,

I expecting about 70 people on this cruise which could be good or bad, quality or quanitity but I am more interested in the cruise itself since it will be the first west coast cruise that I ever done and the good thing about it there probably won't be any "school age" kids on board the ship.

I also believe it's the only 7 day cruise that is being offer during that month by any of the single travel agents.

Default Mexican Riviera

Sorry to hear of your friend Kelly. I'm sure she would want you to have a good time on this cruise.
I spoke with Ann today with Cruisingforlove.com and she said there were quite a few people in their 30s and 40s booking. I think I can speak for SheDaisy (my roomie) and myself and say that we are looking forward to this experience tremendously. I just hope I can last until May! I'm also looking forward to putting a face with all these cyber names and meeting lots of new, fun, people.

Default state rooms

Can anyone tell me what part of the ship is better to get a cabin in? Front, back, middle, lower decks or higher decks? Does it really matter? I was on one cruise prior to this, but I never really thought about all these decisions. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Default getting better

with the help of a great therapist...i have got threw all this..

of course i was not prepared for kelly's death...we had alot of plans together once our kids left home..(we met at a hospital emergency room very late at nite) i was there because my son had an ear infection and kelly was there for the same reason. the rest is history..

as far as my kids moving out....where did the time go??? i have not been a very good empty nester..I see other children and think...I remember when my kids were that age..

BUT AS FAR AS MY DIVORCE..I WAS VERY HAPPY TO GET OUT OF THAT
WHAT A DISASTER THAT WAS...HE WAS MEAN, AND MANIPULATIVE, AND A PATHALOGICAL LIAR.

MY SWEET BABY DOG..I WAS STANDING TALKING TO A FRIEND FROM ACROSS THE STREET...(I THOUGHT THE GATE WAS CLOSED) AND SHE CAME RUNNING ACROSS THE STREET AND I WATCHED HER GET HIT BY A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT RACING TO GET BACK TO SCHOOL AFTER LUNCH.

MY DAD WAS VERY SICK AND HIS PASSING WAS EXPECTED, ALTHOUGH NOT ANY LESS PAINFULL.

THE GREATEST JOY OF THESE PAST 3 YEARS HAS BEEN THE BIRTH OF MY GRANDAUGHTER FROM MY OLDEST DAUGHTER, WHO IS NOW 2YRS..YES OF COURSE SHE IS BEAUTIFUL...AND SHE LOOKS ALOT LIKE MY NO# 2 DAUGHTER AT THAT AGE.

LOOKING FORWARD TO A FUN CRUISE AND MEETING NEW FRIENDS.......

Default pics

i found the pic..under personal photo gallery...i clicked on "PHOTO GALLERY and than clicke on personal gallery and there it is...if it is not clear..it is because i had to take a picture of the origanal picture..i want to take this pic to mexico and see if i can find the cab driver .....he was soooo cute..

we kept pulling over to the side of the road to find someone that would translate for us..that young man hauled our butts all over mazatlan, he took us to all the street markets..than kelly had to have a new bathing suit, so he ran us around to 3 different stores,

we bought him some trinkets for his mom and his girlfriend...than headed for senor frogs, which he had no trouble knowing where to go..

we had soooo much fun..i have wanted to go back to mexico since kelly died..but couldn't do it..but now i want to go back with my pics.

kelly had 60 pics on her camera and lost it..i am hoping that someone developed the pics and put them up on the wall at frogs...all i can do is hope!!! annie

Annie, I found the photo, sorry to hear about your friend.

If you take the photos to Mexico and ask the other cab driver they will probably recognize the young gentleman.

Though the photo is very blurry I can still make out two beautiful spirited women.

Default my friend kelly

I will tell you a story

When our kids were little .. we would wait till they were in bed and kel and i would sit on the phone and talk to 4 am..(we were both single moms)

One nite as i was rattleing on about my life I heard snoring. I tried to awake her, but she was out like a lite.

(we were on the phone all the time through out the day)

Several weeks later, I recieved a phone call at 1 am.. (you know the first thought when awoken by the phone at that hr.)

It was kelly, she kept saying...annie are you awake, wake up, I need you to wake up. WAKE UPPPPPPPP!!!!!

My 1st question was "Are you ok? than are the kids ok....(i can feel my heart pounding in anticapation to what she could possibly want at 1 am.)

" I need you to tell me a bed time story......."WhAT , I said.."I can't sleep and your voice puts me to sleep, So you need to tell me a story"

I have told you my whole lifes story a hundred times" I replyed.

"than make one up, but just talk to me untill I am asleep, Jut don't make me answer you..

SO I made up a "lost in the jungle when i was 2".. story...and sure enough with in 20 mins she was out...

and that was the beginning of many bed time stories....

i will tell you about the dead man in her truck an other time..

Ready4Fun, I have talked with people who been on cruises and most prefer the back and higher decks. Are you planning to get a balcony or window on the cruise?

Default cabin

We're getting an oceanview cabin. I believe we're going for a TBA room, and hope for an upgrade. Thanks.
