Default Any advice on hosted singles groups?

I'm strongly considering cruising on a Halloween cruise with Vacations to Go singles group. It seems like a lot of fun and a great way to have travel buddies. This would be on Princess to the Caribbean.

Any advice or experience?

Lucky you Calley!!!! I am already booked on this cruise and you will get to meet me,,, the most perfect specimen of single masculinity known to womanhood!! I am rich, good looking, and versed in all things wonderfull with my sole flaw being that I lie !! Congrats Calley!!!
Seriously, I am booked on this cruise because last year I was on the same cruise with VTG and had a good time. There were about 200 on it last year almost 50/50 with possibly a very few more females. The age range was all ages but there were more in the 40- 65 group than in the younger group. I have been on 2 with Singlecruise and 1 with VTG and find the service very comparable and excelent with both companies. IMHO you will have a good time as long as you dont go on with unrealistic expectations. Good luck, Gary,

You will have a great time. I've been on several Halloween singles cruises, and they are always fun. By the way, a good place to buy a Halloween costume is on ebay!

Hi I cruised with this company on their December cruise. We had about 140 singles even split men to women ratio. The private events for singles were a lot of fun. Cocktail parties, name that movie, etc...

I will be on their other Halloween cruise out of California. As far as romance goes it's luck of the draw we had some couples, and some almost couples and some near misses ha! But you will at the very least make lots of new friends and possible future travel partners. In fact the girl Im cruising with I just met in December. Im really glad I discovered singles cruising as now I don't have to sit home just because my friends are married or can't travel.

Thanks for the costume advice! Any idea on what to dress up as for Halloween?

Hey Calley, the best costume is a costume that shows off your assets and hides your not so great body parts. You want to look attractive. Don't dress like a witch, a rabbit, or a costume that hides your face. You need to be seen by the guys who have not noticed you on the cruise. You need an outfit that when you walk into the room everybody will turn to look at you.
Guys love to dress up in ughly rubber faces and they hide their faces. Most people like to dress up as witches and vampires. That is old and not fun.

I plan to dress up in a sexy nurse outfit that shows off my assets. I already have it all planned out. I have a sexy red bra that will show up under my open white blouse, a short white skirt with red lace underwear that will show up when I sit down. I also plan to wear white stockings with lace on my thighs. I still need to find me some sexy looking red, red, shoes that glitter.
You may want to dress up like a nurse or doctor.
I didn't know Princess has a halloween cruise. I am going on the Carnival Pride for Halloween leaving out of Long Beach Port, California.

Default I am going on Carribean Princess

I just booked on this cruise, inside share, non smoker

I live in Ft Lauderdale, super convenient

I cruised Princess years ago, love boat with my ex , it was great then
and I hear it is great now

I just went on a semi singles cruise, pretty unorganized, more to get roomies I guess, it was on Carnival Imagination, it was great, Imagination is a super ship and I hear CB is wonderful!

Princess has the freshwater pools, can't beat that tho, and from what I am reading this ship is very nice, nice buffets with seafood, movies under the stars etc

Calley, I will email/PM you, maybe we can chat

I am also looking for people to hang out with on excursions, share a cab, I am not into real adventure stuff tho , like a cab to Morningstar beach or Sapphire, or share a cab to Orient

I am still looking for someone who might want to go to on an exotic western cruise in either late august or early december....Valor, maybe Glory?? They have some real low fares on a Valor group cruise (not singles) and that looks good.

I will start a thread about the CB Princess cruise, it sounds really great!!

Once on a Halloween cruise, to my dismay, I realized I had forgotten all about taking a costume. So I told the cabin steward to bill me for a sheet, then cut holes for my eyes and mouth, pulled it over me...and became a ghost. Great costume, and I think the bill for the sheet was less than $10.00. Well worth it.
