anyone going on this cruise?? Ive been on nine cruises with singlescruise.com and decided to try another type of singlescruise. Ive had great time on the others but Ive heard the windjammer ones are great. anyone been on the windjammer ones before?? was wondering how they were...what to expect..i like the sun ..fun..partying so was hoping this cruise would be for me

Which ship are you going on? I've been on the Poly, Legacy, and Yankee Clipper. The YC was a singles charter where we had 60 pax and we went down Venezuela way...had a wonderful group and fun excursions...white water rafting in the rainforest, canoeing, snorkeling, hiking and cooling off within waterfalls, touring coffee plantation, and flying to view Angel Falls

Windjammers are not like your big cruise ships - they are no-frills, no mint-turndown service, no room service... but mainly into fun group activities...drinking, dancing, and sailing...

Windjammer cruises are great for singles. Read the Cruisemates' reviews. There was also a nice article in last weekend's USA Today travel section.

The Windjammer ones are a blast. A very different cruise. Activities, dining, bar situation, rooms are unlike any other ship. But the singles weeks are great. Not many guests- about 100, evenly divided between guys/girls. An older crowd- most guests usually over 40. Alot over 50 and 60. Still, an awesome time. Go at least once.
