Re: how hard is it for crewmembers to hook up? (w/ each oth
With the average time employees work on a cruise it 5 months I figure you would not have any problem meeting single men.
I do not know what kind of policy any cruiseline have but I assume they would frown on inter-cruise relationships. You are there to work on the ship and if the relationship goes bad you may not want to be on a ship that your ex-boyfriend is on.
Take your time and check-out the guys. If you make the wrong choice you may end up literally leaping off the ship. I have heard of sad love stories about gals working on cruiseships who jumped off the ship. It happened once on the Mercury ship. The young gal was sent home after that.
I have heard of other sad stories.
The crew men on the ship are very selective so don't flirt with any of them. You need to keep your cool and don't spend any time with any of the guys until you get to know them better. You will get all the dirt on each guy as time passes. My advise is to try to meet a guy who works in the kitchen because then he will get some good food and goodies to eat. Some ships have lousy food for some of their employees.
I have cruised for many years and have gotten to meet the girls who work on the ships and they tell me their stories.
My advise is to go slow and just hang out with the gals. Ask them questions about the guys on the ship. Some workers on the cruise ships are not very nice. Take care.
