Sorry Scott but you are out of my massage plans; Heather I'll bring the oil you bring the smile

I am doing a ton of traveling so sorry I haven't been checking in but business is crazy but good $$$$$$$$$$
J has been booked up to as one of his girls had their tonsils out and is having a rough time recovering from the operation. Glad to see you guys are keeping the board rolling.
Seems like Heather & Smile have a lot of male masseuses to choose from. Where are the rest of the ladies as this is an all out sausagefest.

Default My back is going to be..............................

Sounds like my back is going to be very happy!!! Do you know how long it has been since I have had a massage?? Sorry, Scott I tried. Dan, glad you are making lots of $$$$, are my drinks on you?
Jason, Sorry to hear about your daughter. Tonsils are tough. I will keep her in my prayers! So now I am checking out a 4 day weekend at Disney. Trying to con my brother and his wife into letting me take my 3 year old nephew. See at heart I am a big kid. I will knock down any kid that gets in my way of seeing the characters! You guys better hope that their aren't any characters on the ship! Oh that's right, Dan you will be there.

Default NCL Dawn

Well, guys I got sucked into another cruise!!! I am rewarding myself for getting great blood test results. Any reason to cruise Actually, my cruise friend got this awesome casino rate. The best balcony for 7 nights on NCL Dawn out of NY on 10/15 for about $300!!! And no airfare. It was making me sick missing out on such an offer.
Where is everybody??? Less than 5 months until we cruise!!

That's a deal and a half! I'm jealous!~!

I've just spent a fortune on the three cruises I booked, but I'm really excited about each and every one of them!

Kathy, I am with you!! Just having trouble keeping up with all the threads! I have decided to make my Oct. cruise the most casual cruise ever! No dressing up unless it is a skort with sandles. The less I pack the less I lug on the train to NY!! Now just have to figure out what to do in the ports.

I'm still here, although my time is somewhat limited right now for chatting on this board.

Kathy I am so happy for you!! If I had 18 off I would be buying all kind of new clothes!! My cholesterol was fine, but I dropped it 60. It was the triglycerides that were way high for me since the surgery 408!! Down to 260 without any meds.!!! They were proud of me, cut all soda out of my life and just getting back on my feet again helped.

Default You Guys are CRAZY :)

Hi All - Heather grabbed me and pulled me over here to this board. I'm not a single (married 16 years actually), but will be traveling without my DH, so is that allowed??? You sound like a super fun group. To answer a previous post, YES there is a Martini Bar on board. It is aptly names the Olive Pit! Located on deck 1 atrium. Last time I sailed this ship they had Martini making classes. Mostly, you pay the cover charge and get to Sample several different kinds of Martinis. Was a good way to get liquored up for only $9-10 bucks. Note, go early and sit at the bar. If you flirt with the bartender, he will give you the extra pours from the shaker Hope to post more!

Adele

John Forces Evacuations; Tourists Flee

People take pictures as a dark band of clouds makes its way ashore above San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, as Hurricane John nears.

Thursday, August 31, 2006
CABO SAN LUCAS, Mexico - Tourists fled hotels, desperately seeking flights home, and 15,000 residents of Baja California were ordered to higher ground Thursday as Hurricane John roared toward the resort of Cabo San Lucas.

The hurricane soaked beaches on the mainland's Pacific coast Wednesday and early Thursday before it began turning toward the Baja California, where it was scheduled to nick the peninsula's southern tip Friday.

Officials were preparing to evacuate 10,000 people in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo and at least 5,000 others in La Paz, the capital of the state of Baja California del Sur.

Shop owners boarded up windows and 15 shelters were set up to house the evacuees. Hotel workers stripped rooms of light fixtures and furniture, in case plate-glass windows were shattered.

Residents emptied grocery shelves of food and water, and endured long waits for gasoline. At the airport, hundreds of tourists battled for seats on the few planes heading out of the isolated peninsula. Driving out wasn't much of an alternative - there's only one narrow road, 400 miles long, leading to Tijuana.

Hope it's all ok when we get there!

Default Another Group Checking In!

Hey Gang

Got a group of 11 going on this cruise
- a mix of married and single, young and young-at-heart!

Our interests are varied, but wanted to let everyone know my parents are looking for card players!

Default not I

I am not a card player, but I think Kathy might be. Well, welcome and welcome to your group. I know it looks kind of dead here, but I think everybody might just be busy or waiting until it gets closer to get excited. So anymore information on your group. Ages, names?

Yep - here's the rundown

Gene & Lorraine (married) - 70s

Dave & Stacy (married) - Dave 43, Stacy 36

Chris & Cathy (married) - mid-30s

Melissa and Josie - 2 single females - mid 20s

Michelle and Bobbie (both single) - Michelle 13, Bobbie 60ish

Mike (single) - 50ish and looking for his next ex-wife

Wer're very excited about chatting with others going on this cruise, and ultimately meeting up on the cruise! Might be interested in grouping up on excursions as well. We typically do not purchase excursions from the cruiselines.

I do indeed love to play cards Mostly poker!

Dave, where do you guys hail from?

I'm booking all of my excursions for all three of my cruises directly with the companies that provide the outings. That saves at least 25% off of the price

This is good the thread is going again! Your group is from everywhere. AdeleMC is a TA escorting a large group on this cruise. I can't remember is anyone contacting HAL to see about a meet and greet?? They will set this up on the first sea day. I also like picking a place to meet up on sail away or the first night. It's been so long I need to read back through the posts. I am on 3 threads for 3 cruises and I can't remember, who's wearing beads, cabin crawls and whatever. Someone help the old lady out her!

Default Welcome

Many of us just booked through our own TA's, it seems to cost less. Need a TA just PM one of us and we can find you someone. If you want to book with the singles group, I think it is Vacations To Go. Hope that helps.

Wow, at least Kansas is well represented on this cruise. I'm a Kansas native myself and a KU grad. Look forward to meeting you.

We need a roll call sometime. Didn't we have one somewhere on the way. Has anybody looked back through the post for the link to the location map Kathy made??? It would be great for it to be updated with all the new cruisers. Pics would be cool too.
