Awesome XMas Cruise-Carnival Spirit from San Diego 12/25/06

Who else is taking this amazing Holiday Cruise?! It will have both a Christmas and a New Years Eva gala and a celebration on New Years Day.

My awesome travel agent, Hadj, managed to get us an *8* category upgrade to an extended verandah cabin!

Hi Kathy, have lots of fun. It is great you don't have to fly to the port because you live in San Diego.

I already bought my flight to Miami and my roomie has done the same so we are going ahead with our plans to cruise out of Miami for the Holidays.

I learned years ago that it isn't any fun sticking around with the family for Christmas. You know what I realized? That my family has everything they need so my gifts are just usless unappreciated gifts. I collect jewelry and I gave my grand-daughter a $1,000. worth of my jewelry plus my wedding pearls. She told my mom that she didn't like the jewelry. I gave some nice wrist watches to some members of the family and they just when aw... gee they are nice. That is the straw that broke the camels back.
Then I made the announcement, "No more Christmas gifts from me".
Now this is the funny part..... I didn't get any christmas gifts from anybody after I made that announcement. So Christmas in my family is..... you give me a gift.... I give you a gift. "Duh" No fun.

Hey, it's more fun being in the Carribean out at sea and make believe it is not Christmas. I love when I am sitting out on deck and the wind is blowing in my hair. Angel
